This is a true tragedy, where a cataclysmic wielding of the patriarchy wrecks havoc within a community. Jason is sidelining his wife Medea (the original princess who helped him gain the golden fleece in the popular myth) to marry a princess. Medea, in response, destroys the lives of those around her, leaving Corinth in a chariot of fire and destruction.
